100 Beautiful, Useful Things Under $100
Treasures of the Amazon, Etsy, and more.
I love data. I revel in it. And you guys give tons of it. Mostly that when I share Amazon stuff, you buy a lot of it. Which is helpful! Because those things generate a little percent of sale kick-back that helps keep The Love List going. That little payout every month and our paying subscribers are what keep this thing existing! So we thank you if you’ve opted into being a paid member of our crew, shared an issue of our newsletter, followed me on IG, or ever bought anything through one of our links.
But I really stick to my guns about only sharing things we (and it is we) genuinely find high-quality, beautiful, and useful. So very often, the things we talk about don’t come with a tiny price tag or a 2-day shipping promise. And I know that many of you wish we’d mix in some cheap(er) thrills more often.
I’ve been saving up all of the really good stuff for this, a mega-delivery newsletter of our favorite 100 (or so) items under $100.
(Many of them are from Amazon, but we took care to also ensure they’re from small businesses selling via the mega-site, and mixed it in with some good Etsy stuff too.)
As thoroughly tested by my friend Laura and me, the difference between the real deal, much-sought-after Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume and this UNDER EIGHT DOLLAR dupe on Amazon is INDISCERNABLE. Also, the dupe lasts! Like, really lasts. If you buy nothing else from this issue, do yourself this favor.
This Ritz-y (get it?) sweatshirt from Etsy.
These “I can’t-afford-Amina” heels.
These wool dryer balls are a more sustainable alternative to dryer sheets (if you like fragrance, drop them with a little Santal essential oil before you throw ‘em in). The colored dryer balls are cute, too!
This way-more-expensive-than-it-looks (under $15) little going-out bag.
This very chichi flaky finishing salt looks great next to your bougie olive oil.
This high-quality little Land Rover Defender toy truck for the kiddos.
Hailey Bieber’s favorite face cleansing oil.
This book, Wine Simple, simplifies the wine buying and tasting process (yep, even finding good wine for under $25 at the grocery store) — and it makes you sound impressive at restaurants.
This laundry detergent, which I’ve mentioned before, that’s great for blankets and towels or diluted in water in a spray bottle for a delicious linen spray. It’s VERY concentrated so fret not the price tag. It’ll last.
The best drugstore moisturizer out there.
This Tiktok viral serum is inexpensive, excellent at moisture-trapping, and (I find) really great after a laser treatment.
This discreet but chic little lamp is wireless (!) and easily charged via USB. We keep one on our breakfast table and have two others that move around the house where we need a little extra light.
This ubiquitous planner that’s trendy in NYC, but also a great agenda for the analog girlies.
This cult Japanese smoothing and styling creme for your locks.
These really great, super-pigmented waxy neon highlighter pencils.
