Right on the cusp of summer with Alex Mill.
Last week, the Alex Mill team and I gathered an intimate group of close friends at my home to toast the warm weather and soak up good vibes. The flowers were blooming, the playlist was lilting, and the food, a hitherto spread of beautiful in-season bites, was recklessly abundant thanks to Daniel at Alimentari Flaneur.
Did I spill a martini on my awesome denim shirt in the first twenty minutes and have to change? Yeah. But it went off without a hitch from there!
I’ve been lucky with the friends I’ve made since moving to New York, and it's really special to have Alex Mill, a brand that has believed in The Love List from early on, give us a reason to gather — especially because I love nothing more than a dinner party. For a brand, it’s a pretty forward-thinking idea. I loved the intimacy.
In other news, I think my backyard might be New York’s hottest club! (Kidding.) I wish I could invite everyone who is reading this! But what I can do is give you some clothes.

Are we allowed to be indecisive? If so, the white Lili overalls and the Irving shorts! 😍 The overalls I’d layer with a simple tank and roll the hem to wear with corded sandals, and the shorts are the perfect wear-for-anything piece: morning dog walk through Central Park with a tee, Salomon’s and an iced coffee in hand or mixed with a fitted silhouette on top and a kitten heeled slide for outdoor drinks with a friend 🥂
I'd wear the prospect tee in baby blue stripes in linen, with the mariner striped roll collar in cotton baby blue stripes with my old beat up kinda 'barrely' italian jeans. Embroidered sequined silver mesh mules, my collection of chains with pearls, moonstones, opals and my captured enhydro pendant by hilary finck. My silver hair piled up in a marge. It's Florida baby🐊🌴🐊🌴
