Gifts for the Low-Key Rich B*tch
A refined guest edit from two of the internet's most elusive cool girls.
Remember the Low Key Rich Bitch of 2023? (A term originally coined by the brilliant for T&C, which I co-opted before I ever even knew him!). Let’s revive her. I like her so much more than “the cool girl” or the dreaded “quiet luxury” moniker. I think of her as the reason I invented Hot Girl Anthropology, the BFF of the EIHG.
The low-key rich bitch is the woman who looks technically casual until you notice every single thing she’s wearing is the nicest one in its category. She’s allergic to showiness; she communicates status through texture and silence. She always buys the expensive version of the practical thing once, then keeps it forever. “Fewer, better things” isn’t a cute phrase from Pinterest, it simply makes sense.
She’s rich in an energetically abundant “don’t worry about it” way, not a “let me give you a tour” way. She tips big, orders the thing she actually wants (dry martini, oysters, caviar, fries), and has a very high personal floor. She doesn’t flaunt. She doesn’t take herself too seriously, but she is serious about her business.
Her idea of luxury is privacy, presence and ease. People assume she’s lucky. She knows it’s discipline/clarity/good taste/not entertaining chaotic assholes. She hates posturing and phony baloneys. She’s not loud about money, she’s just solved for most of the unnecessary friction.
People think she “just looks like that.” They don’t see the quiet systems humming underneath or the internal metrics of being a woman who wants her physical form to match the life she inhabits. She’s the friend who brings a hostess gift that becomes the centerpiece of someone’s home because she pays attention to people. She’s the person who hosts a dinner without uttering the word “tablescape”.
This is the woman people clock before they consciously realize they’re clocking her. It’s not the outfit, it’s the aura! (Ok, it’s also the outfit). She’s optimized her life into a system: the right sheets, the right dermatologist, the good beans in her coffee machine. Nothing is random; everything has been auditioned. She spends money deliberately, with a bias toward permanence.
In that spirit, I asked two of the most elusive women on the Internet (and experts on the matter of LKRBitchery) what they’re giving and receiving this year. The first is Australian model and entrepreneur , recognized for her taste level and creative influence across fashion and beauty. She first captured global attention as a reality television personality before signing with IMG. Her authentic voice and refined, forward-thinking style have made her a trusted reference point and muse for designers, photographers, and Pinterest style surfers worldwide.
The second is one of my favorite mystery manufacturers of IYKYK memes, I can’t tell you much more about her (I’m sworn to secrecy), but I promise you this: her taste is flawless, and so is her IG.
Sophie Bille Brahe Letter Ring: I love how personal these rings feel - simple, sculptural, and something I can wear every day or eventually pass down. I have three letters, hat symbolize all my loved ones.
TSU Lange Yor (Sage’s Rose) by Troye Sivan: I’m very particular with fragrance and rarely change my scent. I’ve had the same scent for almost a decade… until this one! It’s one of their newer fragrances that feels deeply intimate and modern and every time I wear it people stop to ask what it is.
Artifact Uprising Custom Photo Book: I’ve made one every year since my first son was born, this year will be my 11th and it’s something my whole family looks forward to unwrapping on Christmas Day. It makes memories feel tactile again, and I always go for the Signature Layflat Photo Album.
Charlotte Chesnais for Christofle Cutlery Set: I might be biased because she’s my friend, but this 24-piece set is honestly so beautiful, especially in person. Her talent and eye for design inspire me constantly, and it shows in every detail. There’s something so chic about using silver cutlery every day… it makes even the simplest meal feel special.
Frama Bedside/Side Table: I love these, such a thoughtful minimal design. I’ve always found it so hard to find bedside tables I actually like. This whole collection is amazing, and the drawer makes it perfect to keep the things i want hidden.
Rier Fleece Blanket: I love these blankets so much i’ve collected them in a few different colors. They’re super soft and lightweight, and honestly, they look so good stacked together in all the shades they come in. I’d like to purchase the red one next!
The 8 Sleep System Bed: This has completely changed the way I sleep. My husband loves to be cold and I love to be warm, so it works perfectly for both of us. Being able to heat and cool your bed is something you can’t come back from and every night I’m away from home, I miss it.
Jordan McDonald ceramics: He is a Philadelphia-based ceramic artist producing functional dinnerware, architectural fixtures and sculptural vessels. I am a huge fan of his work and love that they are all mostly one of a kind pieces.
All the Cool Girls Get Fired: I love Laura Brown and I love love loved this book so much! So refreshingly honest and sharp, a truly great read.
RŌZ Hair products: I love everything Mara has created with RŌZ as it feels so considered and makes my hair look effortless, and the essentials kit has become my travel-everywhere staple.
Nordic Knots new bedding line: I have a few of their rugs already and just purchased the new bedding, everything Nordic Knots makes is so thoughtful, timeless, and beautifully made.
I recently had the chance to spend a couple of days in Copenhagen (highly recommend), where I, of course, had to visit all of my very favorite brands. Naturally, I left with a few new wishlist additions – including this croc-embossed leather tote, these stainless steel champagne coupes, and this vase. Also from Copenhagen, this Sophie Bille Brahe diamond necklace has been on my radar for years.
On another note, I’ve been observing the beauty cool girls from afar and can’t wait to get my hands on this Fara Homidi box asap. Similarly, all the chicest girls seem to be wearing Juju Vera – and I only recently managed to add one of her collar necklaces to my collection. This cuff is next.
I invested in my very first Hermès bag this year – the Victoria model – and it didn’t take long for me to decide what will (hopefully) be my second: a So Kelly.
Finally, I have a few wardrobe staples on my wishlist. I know there’s been some controversy about the brand, but people seem to agree that The Row Gala pants are worth the price. Also, I have heard only great things about &Daughter sweaters – this V-neck is an absolute wishlist item of mine. Last but not least: a pair of leather gloves, likely the easiest way to look chic on a freezing day.

The Eight Sleep just arrived last week and we are finally setting it up tomorrow night and I could NOT be more thrilled. Stellar lists from both guest eds! Xx
This was amazing. Thank you!!!
