As promised, we’re launching our collaboration — a kerchief — with Gigi Burris to kick off our 5th anniversary.

Gigi and I both grew up in the sticky, humid South, so we know a thing or two about summer heat. I wanted something I could push my hair back off my face with (the way sunglasses do) while still being able to leave my hair down.

Thus, our kerchief — a hairscarf/headband hybrid — was born.
The scarf is made from a lightweight poly blend, making it easy to care for and sturdy for the balmy season’s wear and tear. You can push it back on your head as easily as you would a pair of sunglasses when your hair is a little greasy (that second day!) to keep it off your forehead — while still looking put together.
No tying, no fuss. Just that carefree summertime bandana/kerchief look in 3 seconds flat.
The kerchief comes in two colors — North Fork Blue and Heirloom Tomato Red — and has a cute little silver heart charm on the tip as a wink to The Love List.
Every kerchief is crafted by hand by skilled milliners in Gigi’s New York City workshop. They retail for $195.
