It’s that time again, the beauty shopper’s Superbowl — a.k.a. the Sephora sale. It only happens twice a year, and I’m here to help you ready your carts. The sale runs from April 4-11. If you have Rouge status, you can shop starting today at 20% off. If you have VIB status, you can shop starting 4/5, at 15% off. If you have Beauty Insider status, starting 4/7 you can shop at 10% off.
Here’s a recap of the products our team loves, snag ‘em now while they’re on sale, most of this stuff never gets marked down.
First of all, this is prime time if you’ve been thinking about a Dyson Air Wrap. I use mine every single day — but something they don’t tell you is that the long barrel attachment (which is not included in the starter set) is essential to getting that salon blowout look.
From our Bath Person issue, these CBD Bath salts are pretty incredible for achy muscles. If you’re looking to soothe dry skin and mellow out, Ouai’s Chill Pills are the chic evolution of bath bombs.
People, your BeautyBlender is like a kitchen sponge — it’s gotta be replaced every handful of months. When was the last time you freshened yours up hmmm? Stock up. Also! Their new PowerPuff is awesome, I’m loving it for applying translucent powder.
Have you heard of the Olaplex bun trend? Wet hair + Olaplex No. 3 swept up into a sleek bun for those days you’re running around in leggings. A treatment on the go!
The NuFace has taken TikTok by storm. I love it for lifting and sculpting my face during pollen season, as noted in our Pollen Season Face Rescue issue. For de-puffing a bloaty face (pollen season, salty food, a hangover), nothing beats *the* Clarins mask. These caffeinated eye masks (a Sephora sleeper IMO) are also great for stashing in the fridge when allergies are raging.
Mr. Augustinus Bader’s infamous cream will most definitely sell out at these discounted prices, so don’t be indecisive. It lives up to the hype. I like this new little duo so you can stash the mini in your purse.
We’ve endorsed Kosas’ genre-busting concealer formula time and time again. It’s the best concealer on the market, according to me. Now’s the time to try it!
During my trip to Palm Beach and Miami last month, a handful of key products kept my skin gleamy, beachy and flawless (without looking like I was melting): Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen (a repeat favorite here!), Ilia’s skin tint (I’ve converted most of my girlfriends to this miraculous stuff), my favorite lip/cheek duo (get the color Bichette), really good lip balm, and (this is KEY) setting spray — this one for the morning, and this one for SPF-infused touch-ups. And of course, for “the snatch” bun (a Florida humidity must), Ouai’s trusty pomade.
The lipstick everybody asks me about. The shades are beautiful, it applies like a dream, and the tube is chiiiiiiic.
As I noted in March, “Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin foundation has taken TikTok by storm. I get the hype! I’ve always preferred a tinted moisturizer to a full-on foundation. My favorites are Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer, Ilia’s serum-like skin tint, and Tower 28’s tinted sunscreen, which I use as my makeup base rather than my sole sunscreen. But the Beautiful Skin Foundation is in a category of its own: it gives me that healthy, dewy glow I crave — but with a lot more coverage. I apply it with an inexpensive flat-top acrylic brush and finish by pressing in with a slightly-damp Beauty Blender. Best of all, it looks like my natural skin.”
Oh my God, why is the skinny brow back? Here is our foolproof guide to getting your brows on point. The essential products here are brow freeze, Air Brow, and Kush Fiber Gel.
Westman Atelier rarely (if ever) goes on sale, so if you’re a fan of the cult brand like I am, it’s a good moment to snag your standbys. For me, that’s this bronzer and this lip palette.
Pro Makeup Artist Corianne Cowan spilled her kit for us last year, and some of her favorites are included in the sale, like this moisturizing facial mist, this SPF lip balm she uses for her male grooming clients and fell in love with herself, this cult-favorite plumping lip gloss, and this skin-blurring powder for on-camera (Zoom too!).
I wrote an Exhaustive Guide to Skincare Lessons Learned which I highly recommend visiting for a refresh on all things skincare. Same for sunscreen!
And finally, a few new-to-market things I’ve been loving: GlowRecipe’s glowy new sunscreen (my current favorite SPF), Merit’s sheer lipsticks, Summer Friday’s butter balms, Oribe’s hair thickening treatment spray, this Crown Affair comb, and Saie’s killer, lightweight, dewy glowy super gel highlighter.
