I reach the same point every February, where I cannot bear another cold, dreary day. The novelty of my cold-weather clothes has worn off entirely, and my legs yearn to break free. Visions of shorts dance in my head. Straw bags beckon. Sunglasses cry out for a refresh. In short, I’m over it. I need a day above 60 degrees, stat. I’m ready for a long afternoon at an outdoor table littered with oysters, olives, and a Spritz.
