Sets in the City! I did a pun! Today’s edish is a little cutesy, so I hope you’ll forgive but between running a company and moving cities I’m a lil’ bit at capacity atm. Creativity has given way to function.

Brass tacks, this newsletter always comes from a place of function anyhow. By my estimate, if I have a problem that needs solving, there are likely a bunch of other people with that same problem. So I do my best to tackle that problem here and work it out in real-time with y’all.

Lately, my problem has been getting dressed. Despite how very online I am, how much fashion content I consume etc. etc., sometimes I still stand in front of my closet and draw a blank. This is universal. Every one of us thinks about what to wear to one thing or another at some point in our week, which is what the “Inbox Stylist” vertical is really about. “What thing do I wear to the place?”

It’s an assemblage of outfit ideas that aren’t necessarily literal, but hopefully a helpful jumping-off point — a prompt to shop your own closet and then maybe supplement with something new. A starting point for a conversation if you will.

Speaking of conversations, thanks for all your helpful feedback about our publishing cadence. Most of y’all seem to be happy with hearing from us around three times a week, so we’re going to shoot for that.

It’s about to be hot which is a time of year where outfit inspiration gives way to what thing will stick to my body the least. I really like sets for Summer. Minimal mental investment, but still looks like I have my shit together. Peppered in with some loose cotton things, I’m feeling a lot better about oppressive temps.
