I love all of your posts, but this one really hit home for me. I was just searching for long jackets and short skirts when your story hit my inbox. I always look forward to your emails. Thank you.

I can’t wait to see us all trotting around with our legs out this fall.

Love this conceptually but I wish we could see examples of this type of styling on a range of body sizes 😩

me too! I searched for comps but all I could find was a Christian Siriano runway look that I wasn't crazy about. I am hoping as this trend catches on we'll see more references on a variety of body types pop up! I actually think its very forgiving for someone who wants to play down their midsection or upper body because all the focus is on the legs -- all body types can play with this one which is part of why I like it so much.

Oh I am VERY here for this post. Been waiting for fall to pull out all my jackets to pair with my shorts /no pants and keep that goingggg. I am more of a legs gal so this is for me! I actually have a few of these pieces already and loving these suggestions. Will send outfits;)

I love how this post only includes flats /heels without ankle straps that shows the top of the foot, and no short boots. For girls who don’t like their legs or think they are just okay but stilll want to wear this (like me) I find that’s the only way i can!

Problem w the flats is the winter. Do you think you could wear tights/shorts/flats or heels in the winter and not feel underdressed? Or would you say this is more fall anyway?

Def more fall I think if you're out in the elements

Where's the "crisp white oversize shirt" iteration? Is that not an option?

By all means, use your imagination. My riffs on the idea are meant to inspire, not limit!
