Thank you for this post. I understand a lot of the issues that fast fashion brings but luxury fashion is not without major issues as well. Just thinking about Loro Piana and the unpaid workers in Bolivia makes me so mad because this is a brand that charges thousands for a dollars for a single piece of clothing, you would think that labor was not issue. Also, the prices of clothes has gotten so ridiculous that, in some instances, fast fashion becomes a real alternative. Not everyone can afford The Row, that’s for sure, but even entry level luxury brands and some mid range brands are becoming increasingly unaffordable for more and more people. So as much as I disagree with fast fashion, let’s be real, for a large number of people it is the only option and there’s nothing wrong with not being affluent and actually enjoying fashion.

Cute and fun finds! I appreciate that you didn't take this too deep... yes we can't all afford The Row. Massimo Duti's green mini woven bag is so good!

I thought I had found the best of Zara and MD but you brought some real GEMS to the forefront; those crochet flats from Zara are officially on my list!

The way MD styles the open-knit red sweater on the website -- cinched up with a brooch? Genius.

Love the orange shirt and skirt set! Timeless summer piece that could be dressed together/separately and up/down.

And this is where I leave you (and a few other substacks presumably being by paid by Zara?) I do not support fast fashion.
