Monday Mood: Now & Then
Is it 90's, or is it now?
Much has been written online about 90’s style, but the visual parallels are still striking actually hashed in with images from today. If you didn’t know that was a young Drew Barrymore, it could be any blonde walking around the East Village in October. And it isn’t just the women — I’m pulling plenty of sartorial cues from the men this coming fall: ball caps, cool riffs on flannel, and perfectly-washed vintage tees are all on my hunting list. Topped off with a perennially perfect wardrobe staple — the leather jacket, that is — you’ll look straight off the jetway in 1994. And that’s a good thing.
