More to Love: Our Cold Weather Beauty Obsessions

Here in Atlanta, the (very tardy) fall weather has finally arrived. Just like our wardrobes flip, so do our beauty routines. Here, a few favorites from the team behind this newsletter: the ladies of Graves Creative.

“Westman Atelier just gets me. The creamy Baby Cheeks stick works equally as well on eyelids or lips, so getting out the door is faster and saves space in my bag for those on-the-go touch-ups. Bichette is by far my favorite shade. Its rosy pigment gives you that perfect just-off-the-slopes flush.”

“If I had to choose only one product for cold weather survival, it would be the miraculous ointment that is Aquaphor — for chapped lips, noses, patchy skin, and dry cuticles.”

“It’s a classic for a reason — when it comes to a moisturizer that does the heavy lifting, nothing helps husky skin like Creme de Corps. I particularly like the whipped formula, which dries on my skin a little faster and doesn’t dispense from a cloggy pump bottle.”

“This dual lip + cheek cream blush stick keeps my skin dewy and moisturized all day. It’s flattering, moisturizing, and lightweight.”

“I massage this hand cream in any time I feel a little extra-dry from the cold weather. It’s ultra-hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin.”

“I find myself reaching for this Maison Margiela fragrance as the days cool off. It embodies fall with notes of woodsy vanilla, clove, and chestnut.” (Also comes in a candle!)

“I always find myself upping my beauty routine in the fall - perhaps because without a tan, my face needs the extra oomph. I love Merit's neutral brown Shade Slick. Throwing it on with the warm tones of your fall wardrobe just works, trust me.” (Or wrap up this cute Merit gift set!)

“My favorite #selfcare luxury in the colder months is a nice long bath. This body scrub by one of my all-time favorite beauty companies, Osea, moisturizes while buffing away roughness — perfect for this time of year.”

“I add this to hot chocolate or turmeric lattes at night as a wind-down method and it is *chefs kiss*. Also lovely when added to your morning coffee or smoothies. +++ its vegan!”
