¡Te amo, Chava!

MORE STOCK of our limited shirt drop with Chava Studio is available now in a new colorway.

As I mentioned last week, I couldn’t find the shirt I wanted, so I collaborated with my friend Olivia Villanti of the Mexico-City-based Chava Studio (you’ve met her before here and here) and made one. We’re calling the drop ¡Te amo, Chava!

ABOUT THE FIT:

The “tomboy-ish” shirt is oversized enough to cover your tush — like it was borrowed from your boyfriend, but made for your body.

It has dramatic, stiff cuffs and a short collar designed to be worn up or down. The button placement is just so, in precisely the right place to be sexy but not overt.

Flipping the left shirt cuff up reveals a tiny red heart — a small nod to The Love List and a reminder to always wear your heart on your sleeve.

But we have a little update…

Ummm. Y’all sold us out in an hour! Holy cow. I thought I was being slick sending the email out at night (as promised, to our paid readers first) thinking you’d get to it in the morning.

Nope. The email went out at 9:17 P.M. EST. At 10:19 P.M. EST, Olivia texted me that we’d sold out.

SO! Due to demand, we are releasing our second colorway early — as in, today! Now! Same price, $525.

“Blackcurrant Tomato” is an alternating tomato red and deep blackberry stripe. Same shirt, exact fit, new color! It's still the special designer deadstock material (which is from the same factory that has manufactured shirts for Hermes and The Row).

And yes, if you were lucky enough to snag a shirt last round, you can still get this one if you want both colors.
