I have to say, that I don't use any of this stuff. I wash my face with CeraVe and use some nice grocery store moisturizer that I use because it feels good and it's PINK. I feel that your skin is your skin because of your genes and your use of SPF sunblock (or staying inside and reading, which is what I do.) When i read your column, I feel like a birdwatcher who accumulates birds for her lifelist by following some cool accounts on social media that show pictures of good birds.
In other words, I'm a paid subscriber who's subsidizing all y'all's unhealthy obsession with expensive products for your perfectly good skin. You're welcome.
That’s your experience with skincare for your face. Make room for others to have their own experience with their own skin that is equally true for them. Your experience does not apply to the whole world. (This feels like an obvious thing to say.) For example, I have acne prone skin, and were I to use your regime, I would have acne all over my face all the time. That’s not OK for me, so I take steps to address my acne. Loosen your grip on your worldview, sister. Lots of lives out there, lots of faces, lots of skin types, and lots of experiences that are true and real.
This is great! There's a lot of new research that can help patients to decide which products and procedures are more effective for their needs-- I'm happy to provide that information if helpful! 😊
This is amazing. Thank you for your service 🙏🏼
