The Gift List: A Little Something for Yourself
The anti-guilt guide to shopping for the person who really deserves it: you.
Today’s send contains partnership consideration from EBY and Sakara. If you would like to work with The Love List, please email lauren@aire-ny.com.
Every year around November 1, The Love List turns more into The Gift List. Our Holiday Beauty Edit kicked things off over the weekend, and we’ve armed you to the teeth with drip for the upcoming parties — but now comes gift guide season. As our patron saint Mariah says, “It’s tiiiiimmeeeee!”
One of the most indelible truths of holiday shopping is “one for you, one for me,” because we all tend to do some shopping for ourselves along the way—indulgences to stuff your own proverbial stocking.
In that spirit (and since it’s early in the season), let’s kick things off with a little something for yourself. Not something you need, but something you want… because you, my dear, deserve a little treat.
And since we do unto others around here, help feed a food-insecure family this season by donating to your local food bank, or give a single Mom living on the margins a happier, more dignified holiday. Better yet, make several donations in your loved ones' names.
Maison d’Etto “Durban Jane” // Comme Si hooded scarf // Dorsey moissanite earrings // Alex Eagle trench // Gohar World servers // CO loafers // David Mallett hair mask // EBY bikini briefs // Proenza Schouler boots // SAUER necklace // Vintner’s Daughter “Understory III” // Scully & Scully pill box // PDPAOLA earrings // Sakara x Doen Holloway Pouch // Leica YSL Sofort 2 camera
→ Worth noting: Sakara and Doen make a lot of sense as a pairing. If you have a wellness-adjacent recipient on your list, this little pouch of the brand’s best minis is a great gift for someone on the go (or who’s new to Sakara). The red floral Doen pouch is worth having on its own; it’s adorable. The pack includes a mini of their new relaxation gummies, which I’ve written about before — they take just a little edge off if you’re feeling wired. A full-size bag would make a great stocking stuffer for anyone anxious. And who isn’t sometimes? Use code THELOVELIST for 25% off at Sakara.
And there’s nothing like a small luxury that’s your little secret. EBY’s high-cut briefs are my favorite under black trousers. They’re sexy to look at, but comfortable enough for everyday wear. I like the black mesh. It’s very ooh-la-la, sans the wedgie.
BECK jewels diamond scuba choker // Soeur collared sweater // Wolf travel jewelry case // Gunia Project sugar bowl // Madame Grey “Piscium” candle // Edie Parker lighter case // Nina Runsdorf ring // Francesca Vila cameo ring // Chris McMillan texture spray // Violette.FR eye glitter // Kallmeyer t-shirt // RE/DONE The Slim Cig jeans // Frankie Shop oversized blazer // DS&DURGA “The Carlyle” perfume // Ettika hair pin // Underwater Weaving basket tote // Dyson Airstrait // Emme Parsons pumps
→ Worth noting: For friends of The Love List and Cassandra Grey, use code JESSVIP for 20% off Madame Grey’s new Zodiac Collection, which Cassandra Grey worked on with master astrologer Karen Thorne to channel the essence of each sign. In collaboration with perfumer Jérôme Epinette, Grey and Thorne developed twelve distinct candle scents, each crafted to evoke an astrological temperament and to deepen in character over time.. As with most good things, this won’t last: the code expires 11:59 PM on November 5 — that is, if the candles don’t sell out first.
Sophie Buhai hair comb // Yaser Shaw shawl // Dries van Noten clutch // EREDE studs // Fara Homidi resort box // Lucy Delius necklace // Metier Private Eye bag // Frame x Sotheby’s hat // Renata.Q necklace // La Bonne Brosse hair brush // Mutha body oil // Ginori mug // Jimmy Choo tuxedo loafers // Sherman Field cord necklace // CYKLAR body oil and gua sha tool // Vintage Hermes Kelly 32

Montblanc Meisterstück pen // Rohe leather jacket // Vin store tomato evening bag // Hermes Beauty trio lip set // Discotheque “Lola at the Coat Check” perfume // Anastasio Home headphone stand // The Row oversized t-shirt // Le Sundial necklace // Santa Maria Novella Melograno hand soap and ceramic pomegranate // Madame Gabriela Beauty red lipstick // Wolf velvet pouch // Kindred Black “Revenant” perfume oil // Balenciaga medium Rodeo bag // The Row courdory pants // Phaidon’s “Modern Manners” // Manuka honey // The Row ballet flats
→ Worth noting: The Santa Maria Novella Melograno (Pomegranate) fragrance is tied to the 800-year history of the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella (the world’s oldest apothecary), which was founded in Florence in 1221 by Dominican friars who used herbs from their monastery garden to create remedies, including rose water to disinfect and cleanse homes during the Black Death plague.

It’s the most wonderful time of the yeaaaaaar! Yaser Shaw is so high up on my list. A’Marees here carries the line and I just may have to…!
Do you have a favorite Zodiac candle? They all sound good lol.
