THE LIST: 12 Things Absolutely Delighting Me Right Now
Hello from Montauk, where I’m horizontal with cramps but not too upset because I’m still staring at the water from my window. Dogs snoozing at feet. 80 degrees. Yum. I’m enjoying the peace and quiet after a busy run of days that culminated with my wedding dress fitting (!!!).
My Mom and a few bridesmaids gathered in my living room for the occasion, and my friend Gigi Burris brought all kinds of veils and bridal moments for us to decide on. I haven’t felt so loved in a long time, it was such a special morning.
Gigi and I have been working on a secret project behind the scenes that will be ready to show you very soon. We’ve collaborated on a little something for you to use this summer. Can you guess what it might be? She is one of my favorite people, the whole process has been such a joy. You won’t have to wait long!
Below, some other things delighting me right now.
I came across Tonal’s Sunveil Skin Defense Foundation somewhere on Substack, where the bright yellow bottle immediately caught my eye. It took me a few tries to get a skin tone match (I needed to go lighter than I thought), but it’s a killer summer workhorse. It works by actively reducing sebum on your skin so you look glowy but not sweaty. It’s long wearing, humidity-resistant, and it’s got an SPF of 50. A breakout product.
LeSet Kyoto pants forever. Easy to style, easy to care for, comfortable, reasonably-priced, fits a million different bodies, a color for everyone… it’s a love story.
Speaking of love stories, allow me to write one to ABASK, where I’ve recently been going nuts in some kind of pre-wedding nesting ritual. In my cart: a cashmere throw from Saved NY, Italian glass chargers for the table, and a pair of breezy cotton Thierry Colson pajamas with sweet embroidery and frog clasps, which I wore to host a garden party with a pair of Jude sandals.
At the same party, my friend Paulina Liffner came in straight from the North Fork with an armful of ripe farm stand strawberries and a big bunch of wildflowers for me — my love language. She had one of her eponymous white croc-print pouches tucked under her arm, which perfectly complimented her tan.
Why is Zara so good right now??
I got some messages asking for a link to my favorite Dosa tunic that I found at The Row in Amagansett, but I can’t find it anywhere online. However, this POSSE one is damn close, and a lot less expensive.
Okay Cortana, you have my attention.
You do too, Joanna Vargas. I NEED to try this.
I hosted a “Ladies Who Lunch Lunch” at The Grill with Lazy Jamie in honor of her new serving set. I wore this, which is basically The Row Gala pants, but make it a dress. The necklace is Juju Vera and the shoes are CHRISTEN.
This Rachel Comey number, styled with your blackest, laciest bra underneath.
I zipped up a pair of OSSOU flex stretch jeans in Sable wash last week and my eyeballs popped out of my head when I looked in the mirror. Not to brag, but MY TUSHY!! Miraculous jeans, elegant dark wash, just a teeny tiny bit of give, immaculate. Nina and Talia — wowowowow.

I leave you with this brilliant hat from the mind of John Jannuzzi:
