• Starting strong, Moda Operandi’s capsule with Malene Birger is heaven. It most notably includes a shortened version of LSD’s viral faux fur coat from last year (pictured above). The leather jacket is fantastic, too. (Fur coats abound on resale sites, too, like this vintage YSL.)

• Mom, I’m in Vogue! Who knew my reluctant relationship with my Oura ring (which I wear as a pinkie ring) would again get me onto these hallowed pages? Erika Veurink wrote the piece and has a fantastic Substack you should subscribe to. We also got a nice little mention in Instyle’s September issue as the ballet flat and ugly shoe chatter escalates. Thank you, Faran!

• I’m a newly-minted Little Liffner fan, particularly this bag, which unlocked memories of 90’s Brighton and thus hit me right in my feelings.

• By the way, the 90’s Brighton search is a gold mine on eBay, particularly the loafers and belts. Vintage and second-hand friends, most of my hard-earned eBay hunting tips transfer well from my RealReal hunting tips if helpful! Also helpful (to the Paris-bound) is Irene Kim (김애린)’s incredible list of vintage shops in the City of Light.

• I had the pleasure of going to a gathering of writers, founders, and a litany of my girl crushes at Leandra Medine Cohen’s house last week, where she served the most legendary “girl dinner” I’ve ever laid eyes on — a menu she collaborated on with Colu Henry (who wrote one of my favorite cookbooks). We gathered ‘round the coffee table and noshed away. My favorite was the trout dip, which, fortunately, Colu published the recipe for in her newsletter last week. I urge you to get a tin of Fishwife and go ham!

• The most urgently-gettable thing I saw on the Milan runways were these flats from The Attico. I have thought about them every single day since.

  

• I also think about Kendall Jenner in this Bottega shirt a lot. It looks so simple, but it’s not; tricky proportions make it perfect. By the by, you don’t have to scour the internet for her looks most of the time — due to her partnership with FWRD, they run most of her highly-papped ‘fits down here.

• I’ve received DMs asking for coat/jacket suggestions, so I edited my favorites into a roundup found here. I tried to vary the selection for my sisters down South, where it isn’t as chilly yet. (You can always find budget options on our under $500 storefront on ShopMy.)

• Wow, this Doen dress. Also, wow, these Emme Parsons loafers.

• On the beauty front, Merit released one of the best eyeshadow formulas I’ve tried. What starts as an easy-to-apply cream (we’re talking finger painting here) dries down to a powder consistency that stays put well.

• Speaking of Merit, they collaborated on a really smart drop with Moda Operandi, releasing a kit of the exact makeup used for the Proenza runway show a few weeks ago — complete with a chic little bag to tuck it all away in.
