Everyone sure is mad about Ryan Murphy’s CBK, huh? We’ve been busy around here (growing the team, lining up Guest Editors for when I’m on my Bachelorette break, etc.), so tonight’s a cozy evening send. I know y’all like those sometimes. P.S. — Can someone please talk about Love Island USA with me?

Shopping tourism is my favorite kind. I had the pleasure of hosting a fashion tour of New York with a small group put together by Luxury Escapes, a Melbourne-founded travel brand that’s grown into a global player, boasting over 8 million members worldwide. They specialize in hand‑picked, all‑inclusive luxury travel, from five‑star resorts and flights to curated experiences at insider prices.

I was tapped to give a taste of a Luxury Escapes Signature Experience, a curated, high-touch travel package designed to make premium vacations feel effortless (and still indulgent!) without the usual legwork. These aren’t just hotel deals; they’re complete itineraries bundled with perks like private transfers, fine dining, spa treatments, and exclusive local access, all vetted and often personally tested by their team. Think of it as a shortcut to the kind of trip you’d plan if you had an in-the-know travel concierge: five-star stays in the Maldives with overwater dinners included, or a safari where the lodge, game drives, and sundowners are all seamlessly arranged. They aim to make aspirational destinations feel more accessible by connecting you with a specialized insider (in this case, me!) to show you a side of the destination you'd never otherwise see.

The day's highlight was a private tour of the new Lalique townhouse on the Upper East Side, which feels less like a retail store and more like stepping into an elegant collector’s home. Set in a restored Beaux-Arts mansion on East 63rd Street (the former home of Diana Ross!), the five-story space—called Maison d’Artiste—blends historic architecture with moody, crystal-laced interiors that reflect the brand’s French heritage. Each floor is styled differently: there is a jewelry salon, a design studio, a gallery, and a lounge, all layered with Lalique’s signature crystal touches, from leather-wrapped stair railings to delicate bespoke chandeliers.

Everyone on the Luxury Escapes tour was particularly in awe of Lalique’s collaboration with James Turrell. It was a glinty fusion of Turrell’s meditative, perception-driven work with Lalique’s century-old mastery of crystal. The partnership spans visual art and scent: limited-edition crystal light panels that glow with a subtle, almost spiritual presence and sculptural perfume bottles inspired by architecture and Turrell’s desert roots.

English shirting brand With Nothing Underneath has launched on Moda Operandi, and founder Pip Durrel threw a cozy fete with Moda’s Tatiana Hambro Arader to mark the occasion. It was super cute walking in and seeing just about everyone in the room in a different iteration of their smart seersucker shirt. I wore the white seersucker set styled under an oversized cream Khaite denim jacket and got lots of compliments.
My plus-one for the evening was Maison d’Etto’s Brianna Lipovsky, an absolute doll with a sharp-eyed vision for her (very chic) brand. At our second dinner of the night (to meet up with my friend Victoria of The Stax, who hosted a beautiful trunk show at de Gournay with jewelry brands Tallin Jewels and Violette Joaillerie), everyone was swooning over her scent, Canaan.

I’m cooling it on the parties for a little bit now. We’re heading to Litchfield, CT, this weekend to stay at The Mayflower, where Ariel Okin is hosting the Fenimore Lane Design Summit. I’m still deep in decorating mode and excited to see what I can excavate at her shopping bazaar. Also, the Mayflower has the best spa ever. My body is so ready. I love a nice hotel more than anything. I’m packing my big tub of Mienne body creme and good bath salts. Catch me inside.
My last official social commitment before summer kicks in (and I check out) is a Loro Piana dinner in Montauk at Crow’s Nest. Crow’s Nest is one of my favorite places;
is a total doll, and what she and her husband have done with it makes it genuinely feel like a home away from home. (I told you, I’m a massive nerd for a good hotel.) I love their cabins, particularly for more extended stays.
I've been eyeing that fishy purse by Vin all week, maybe this is my sign to buy it...
I love this so much! thank you for including our birks!!!
