Hi there!
I am on vacation this week in my old stomping grounds of Palm Beach. I’m trying my absolute best to be present while I’m home — and not to work. I’ll be back in a few days with more Hot Girl Anthropology from the 561 area code in addition to an island shopping guide. There were just a few quick shopping bits I want to put on your radar before then.

Still Here is launching new denim tomorrow, and if I’d waited until I was home from vacation to tell you about it, they would have already sold out. So meet The Buckle jean, a low-rise, even more chill riff on their perennial sold-out style The Cool. They snuck me a pair pre-release and the fit is fantastic. I usually hate wider legs on me but these are super soft and feel like sweats. Downtown NYC will be crawling with them.
The sheets at our hotel remind me a lot of the ones I have at home — except theirs are probably Matouk or Frette and mine are (way more reasonably priced) Brooklinen. I promise you, their cotton percale is not to be overlooked. We have the percale set topped with a cotton quilt and duvet cover. They look and sleep just as nice as hotel sheets and because they’re not Frette, I don’t wince when my dogs jump up on them.
Sakara launched supplements — but not the pill kind that upset my tummy half the time. As you know, I am not woo woo wellness, These are easy liquid supplements. I brought some early samples of the Daily Elixer and Cell Reset with me to PB to blend into smoothies in the morning. The multivitamin formula of the Daily Elixer makes me feel especially good on vacation when I wake up with a headache from too much Caymus at Palm Beach Grill.
How effing cool are these?! I just got myself a pair. I also want one of the Pamela Love spinner pendants — a Taurus one, my guy’s sign. Oh and imagine these + a slick-back bun on vacation. Hello!
It must be the imminently preppy vibe of this island that has me looking at J.Crew for the first time in a minute. I like their copy for the new spring arrivals: “preppy gone sexy”. Like yeah, that. I wore a white cotton Alaia shirt dress to dinner last night and then logged on to J.Crew to see something almost exactly like it for $150.
Stepping mentally back in New York for a second, I encourage you to look at the SSENSE sale now that we’re bridging Spring. The discounts are heavy — heavier than usual. I’m talking Lemaire, a litany of Ayede flats, lots of last Spring’s Jacquemus, Simone Rocha (a great showing in London last week btw), and Pleats Please.
Last but not least, I’m leaving a note here to hold myself accountable: do not ever forget about Shisedo sunscreen ever again, Jessica. It is unbeatable. Do not bother with anything else on your face.
That’s all I have for you! I’m going to knock off and pop over to the little Italian paper shop I like. I’ll be back later this week with all kinds of morsels from the sunny climes of PB (sans DJT). Until then, I hope to be (very) offline. Wish me good vibes, minimal hangovers and no tan lines. 💋
manifesting we overlap just once so i can feel this PBJG aura irl
As an Alaïa fan I can’t stop thinking about how does that white dress looks like even though I have some ideas… still dying to find out :))
