"I think everyone would like to be allowed to just… be excited about a new pair of shoes again" - glad I'm not the only one feeling this. And thanks for surfacing the Buck Mason collab - the boyfriend crop rugby polo isn't quite the Phoebe zip polo sweater of my dreams, but it is still quite good.
👏🏼👏🏼I think about this a lot & appreciate how gracefully you’ve expressed it, Jess 🐇🐇. AND ~ buck Mason is not a rabbit I’ve ever chased either, but, as my current phase aligns VERY closely w *dusty tomboy* I’m loving this 💫💫🩷
"Some of it was clothes, some of it was fashion, some of it was so sad and weird I’m not even going to tell you about it." But we want to know the sad and weird too!!
Jess, this was a great newsletter! I want to hear more about how people feel guilty for their consumption -- is that really true in the NY fashion crowd??
Also, fwiw, I do think consumers more broadly care about the construction of a garment so much as it is well constructed or not, clothes that fall apart quickly, that stretch out, etc. don't work for anyone.

my shopping habits just are not personally driven by fantasy, so it’s not the rabbit I chase.
I myself identify as such
