Our Subscriber Chat is a very active place. I find the community there delightful, and I’m always popping in to start conversations and answer questions about buying decisions.
I wanted to know how you incorporated red into your wardrobe this year, and you *delivered* the styling inspo. The answers were chic, compelling, and creative…
Most of you stuck to one or two red accessories, while a few of you committed to bigger moments, like
’s crimson coat, Kerry’s bralette, or ’ playful red High Sport Kick Pants. In our chats, I saw oodles of red shoes, red phone cases, red fingernails, and hair accessories. And while the proliferation of cheeky cherry-hued wearables flooded the market in 2023, I’d argue this isn’t a trend so much as a stalwart styling trick. A pop of red has always been a great way to punch up a look.I continued to tinker with the color this year, getting the most mileage from a red baguette from The Row, a chalcedony locket from Sherman-Field, and a Khaite sweater that lived on my shoulders more than my torso.
Referencing the 2024 runways, we’re not yet finished with our red era. If you’re keen to shop for a little red treat, some selects from the winter sales below.
