Gifts for the High-End Homebody
This is my Super Bowl.
If you know me, you know how much I love to be home. Consider me a Wintrovert, a nester, a cozy season Olympic gold medalist! My ideal night is curling up with my guy and my pups, preferably with delivery sushi and the fireplace.
As such, I’ve perfected the fine art of homebodying and made my apartment the softest place to land in Manhattan. The below — *cracks knuckles* — aren’t simply gift recommendations; they’re an entree into a lifestyle.
The first thing you’ll need is comfortable clothes to lounge in. I’m a fan of matching sets and soft separates in luxe materials, which make me feel less schlubby, even if the only person seeing me is the UPS man.
Quince has a lot of beautiful cashmere sets for a song, making them a primo choice in the “one for you, one for me” category. (Tbh would also be great to fly in). Don’t overlook their soft blankets, slippers, undies, and homeware, either. I feel like they’re a slept-on resource for a vast spread of quality things.
For the Bravo nights, a strong setup is some soft sweats, a great glass of red wine, a warm mug of bone broth, and an easy air fryer dinner. Light a candle that exudes a warm fragrance like Jenni Kayne’s Telluride (the whole site is 25% off right now for BF).
The following morning, a smoothie with the best-tasting Cinnamon Vanilla protein I’ve ever had (also part of a set) and a hot adaptogenic matcha.
For the traditionalist, classic pajamas and coordinating footwear signal it’s time to wind down. She forgets to remove her sparkling diamond earrings — but no worry, they’re comfortable enough to sleep in.
With a quick brush of the hair and a sleep mask on, she pulls up the covers and drifts off to sleep, mentally making her wish list — which includes (naturally) more diamonds.
For a WFH day, maybe some Zoom-worthy pajamas? Alex Mill has a great collaboration with the Italian shop Schostal — a name that seems to be on everyone’s lips as of late, as Gucci Westman recently teamed up with them, too. They’d also be great wrapped up with a pair of Mickey Drexler-approved cashmere socks.

No sloppy clipped-up hair here; she pushes back her mane with a ladylike velvet headband while she meticulously files her nails.
For the modern, minimally-minded, some pragmatic but beautiful items to upgrade her nest: a wrap to swathe herself in, a slick electric kettle, or maybe an alarm clock that mimics the sunrise.
I can see her cupping her tea mug in two hands as she kicks off her blanket and plods outside to take in the sunset. She ends the night with a dry brush and hot bath, incense floating into the air.
