Need to know more about what is so diabolical about day diamond engagement rings! (assume you’re referencing JMC?!)

For that set specifically, clarity and color matter a lot!! JMC doesn’t evaluate diamonds by clarity/color but instead by how they feel, light refractions, and what makes sense for the setting (etc). Which is fabulous, but non traditional!!!! They’d prefer a white and clear (blinding) diamond for something as classic as an engagement ring! (I personally love day diamonds and every breath of mine is committed to JMC lol)

Where are the ladies who want ORIGINAL Georgian collet mounted rings that inspired JMC day diamonds?

As the (very) proud recipient of a JMC engagement ring I am relieved to read this haha. Although I am equally obsessed with EIGHs who have strong opinions about anything so power to the nofar method gals tbh

Same!!!! I love the class it is…. My entire personality. Felt like home from day one, walking up those palo santo flights of stairs up to the studio (sanctuary)!!!!!
