Inbox Stylist: The Zara + Massimo Dutti Edit
By reader request, a Springtime edit from the Internet's fast-fashion fiefdom.
By popular reader request, here’s your spring Zara edit. Let’s try to do this without diving too deep into the moral implications of fast fashion, because not everybody can afford The Row, y’know? Did you know Zara and Massimo Dutti recently combined websites and shopping cart functions, so now you can shop both sites in one transaction? Smart.
Let’s go.

Thank you for this post. I understand a lot of the issues that fast fashion brings but luxury fashion is not without major issues as well. Just thinking about Loro Piana and the unpaid workers in Bolivia makes me so mad because this is a brand that charges thousands for a dollars for a single piece of clothing, you would think that labor was not issue. Also, the prices of clothes has gotten so ridiculous that, in some instances, fast fashion becomes a real alternative. Not everyone can afford The Row, that’s for sure, but even entry level luxury brands and some mid range brands are becoming increasingly unaffordable for more and more people. So as much as I disagree with fast fashion, let’s be real, for a large number of people it is the only option and there’s nothing wrong with not being affluent and actually enjoying fashion.
I love this thank you! I have things from zara that have lasted years and years ❤️
