Forecast: 7 Degrees.
Plus: Big moves at Khaite, Kendall Jenner's annual Aspen looks, and Phoebe Philo's next drop.
It’s a sleepy snow day in New York. The fireplace is crackling, and the news is (intentionally) switched off. Last night, we let ourselves into Gramercy Park and played in the snow with some friends who were over for dinner. I’ve been hibernating (Wintroverting), reading, and clicking around from underneath the weight of three blankets. So this letter is really just a bit of this and that — some things worth sharing, items that have pinged my radar, and the miscellany that’s crossed my desk over the last few weeks.
And HEY! I’m getting married on New Year’s Eve at the end of this year! Will you do me a favor? Please drop me a comment with your best advice for brides-to-be. I’m all ears for all of it: beauty treatments, mental health tips, budgets, vendors, family, everything. Hit me with your lessons learned. I’d be so appreciative.

Our friends at CAM Studio are auctioning off this beautiful gold chain. 100% of the proceeds will go to The Malibu Foundation, a comprehensive, needs-based relief organization for Los Angeles Wildfire victims, prioritizing support for the most vulnerable communities, including low-income families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and uninsured households.
Khaite hosted an intimate press preview for the PF25 collection last week, a triumphant reinstatement of the full-throated voice we love. The collection included the requisite architectural organza pieces, buttery leather jackets, and interesting separates—still abstract enough to be forward-thinking but easier to style than past recent collections. A clever, elevated riff on a Frye motorcycle boot was a standout destined for internet virality. The collection is already available for preorder via Moda Operandi. This deep raffia bucket bag gets an affectionate spot on my wish list. Their UES store at 828 Madison Avenue quietly opened on Saturday. I peeked in when I was in the neighborhood over the weekend — the signature Judd/Lynchian (RIP) vibes are there, but it’s far lighter and brighter than the Soho store.
Speaking of Moda, I’ve been living in this UTZON shearling coat from the retailer. Given the single-digit weather here, it’s been a good investment that makes lovely bedfellows with my Maria McManus balaclava. Moda also (nicely) sent me an adorable matching set (sets, going nowhere!) from their POSSE capsule, which almost entirely sold out in presale. (Maybe I’ll wear it with the aforementioned Khaite bag this summer.)
I’m also going to try this NOUR HAMMOUR shearling number. Kendall Jenner always gives us LOOKS during her annual Aspen trip, and a 90’s Tom Ford Gucci coat that clearly inspired the NH style pushed me to buy.
One of the shows I’m looking forward to next month is TWP. I had to miss it last season because my guy was getting sworn into the New York Bar (slightly more important!). Still, I think what Trish Wescoat Pound is putting out into the ether is a bullseye shot at a specific set of customers. She knows precisely the woman she’s making clothes for. Her new denim pieces speak to that. There’s an inky oversized rancher’s shirt, chill linen-blend jeans, ultra-wide legs that echo the 1970s, a lightweight button-down that hollers “denim and diamonds,” even an indigo t-shirt.
Quince has a sleeper hit sweater with this oversized crewneck. It echoes designer styles and clocks in at 99 bucks. It's an easy grab in classic grey, perfect for pulling on over T-shirts and tying around your waist. While you're there, throw the $10 cashmere comb in your cart. It’s also a sneaky spot to stock up on well-priced cashmere socks.
I’m obsessed with this Pisces spinner pendant by Pamela Love — just $250 from At Present. Other glinty things that caught my eye: these serpentine earrings, James Banks’ mini Carnelian padlock, and Malachite studs from the girls at Lizzie Fortunato.
I’ve been living in these Nomasei loafers — a new-to-me Paris-based shoe line founded by Marine Braquet and Paule Tenallion, who, having worked for some of Paris's most prestigious luxury houses (Dior, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy), met three years ago in a luxury shoe factory in the Tuscan village of Montopoli. I wore them with jeans, Juju Vera earrings, and my favorite Bottega sweater last night.

Kevin has almost entirely commandeered my Kate McLeod lotion stone, so I’m glad the brand released the formula in a handy stick he can stash in his gym bag. Other new items in our bathroom are great-looking Trask toothbrushes (which look sleek perched in a silver julep cup next to Linhart toothpaste) and Lolavie scalp scrub (yes, Jennifer Aniston’s brand). This stuff knocked out my dry winter scalp just as well as my beloved Goop salt scrub, but in smarter packaging, with a slanted nozzle that delivers the product directly to your part.
We have a thorough Pilates edit letter on deck, but I’ll quickly put Fore-té Club on your radar beforehand — I just got this black crewneck sweatshirt to wear over this cutie playsuit. Styled with Salomons this Spring, there’s nothing like a good outfit to motivate you to get your butt in the studio.
Still Here’s “Cool” Jeans are back in stock! Lots of colors, full size runs. It won’t last, so pounce if you missed them last time!
On the media consumption front, I’m back at Lumen with the rest of you who are glad Severance is back, and I am finding myself sucked into this season of The Traitors. I’ve been reading God of the Woods and The ‘Let Them’ Theory — just a few chapters into each now! Last night, I had an indulgent TikTok binge in bed. The weird propaganda push notification is dystopian as hell, but we’ll see what the future holds. I hope it stays around, personally.
Phoebe is giving us newness on Wednesday! My coins are ready.
CO’s lounge edit is everything I want to wear right now.
Tons of gorgeous, buttery oxblood and chocolate leather making my mouth water right now: Bottega’s slouchy Hop, The Row’s textured Amazon clutch, and Balenciaga’s Hershey-flavored Rodeo bag.
If you’re sick of the Margaux bag but laud its pragmatism, it looks like the pack is moving towards Toteme’s Day Tote bag, part of its new evergreen Garderob collection (significant points for the long shoulder strap + $1790 price point), and Metier’s roomy, more luxe Private Eye bag.
Here is the master spreadsheet of GoFundMes for Black families displaced by the Eaton fire, and here is the spreadsheet of GoFundMes for people impacted by both Eaton and Palisades fires. Thanks Laurel!
As I’m approaching my 35th anniversary, my biggest tip is the wedding is just one day. It’s everything after that that is important!
My best advice is that after the ceremony, instead of going straight to pictures with family or other things, go to a room just you and your husband (no photographers, no one else), and share a glass of champagne and soak in the moment. It’s hard to describe how meaningful and special it feels to declare your lives together (even if you already live together, share a pup etc) and while the rest of the wedding is SO FUN it will still feel like everyone wants a piece of you and it ends so fast. I’ll always remember those 5min together holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes, it was very special
