Revisit past outfit collages in our Inbox Stylist Index
  1. You’re hearing from me a LOT this week because I’ve been GONE and I MISSED YOU! First, some housekeeping. By reader request, we’re now sharing all outfit collages, past and present, in one place, handily linked. Hopefully this helps those of y’all who love Inbox Stylist and want to revisit your favorite looks more easily. We’ve also rounded up all of our wardrobe care and closet organization tools in one handy evergreen place. You can find all of this on LTK, where you can follow me if you’re an app user. We’ve also added lots of new Discount Codes to our Codes Index, so please check there before you check out. Oh, and our August resale thread went live a little early. Check it for a 1981 Kelly, a sold-out Row Mira clutch, a Mean Girls Burn Book, and other weird, cool, great stuff from our weird, cool, great readers:

  2. Every season is SPF season, but I’ve got your summer sun care Molotov cocktail: Mineral sunscreen from Dr. Loretta is silky and matte, great for layering with tinted moisturizer and preventing sweat-off. For the tan peelies, LILIS sloughs off everything old and dead to reveal what’s healthy underneath (essential for spray tan prep, too). Finish with an age-defying body balm for supermodel legs.

  3. Summer clothing commandment one: thou shalt not stick. Think breezy, oversized layers in a luxe fabrication that you can wear this summer… and ten summers from now. Style it with something white, cotton, and feminine that pulls on and a sandal that allows for 10,000+ sandy steps.

  4. SLB gateway drug. I will not elaborate further. Another SLB motherlode (all under $250) here, a discovery from my DMs.

Phoebe D.
  1. Phoebe Philo’s Collection D preview just dropped, which makes me wonder… what happens when she hits Z? Fashionphile searches for Celine are up 42.4%, especially now that Michael Rider’s issued a cheeky revival of Phoebe’s Phantom bag. Old Céline was never uncool, but its shares are splitting right now.

  2. Lowkey, the easiest dress I can put in front of you.

  3. This one is a close second.

  4. My go-to weekend outfit lately: High Sport navy gingham shorts, J.Crew open-knit cotton sweater, Christopher Esber flip flops, Row mini Barn bag with Alex Mill monogrammed tote (yes, double-bagging) — hold off until 7/28 to order one if you don’t want a weekender; more sizes are coming. I’ll remind you in chat!

  5. Toes, a go-go.

  6. A satisfactory croissant with zero calories? It exists.

  1. The best parts of the 90s are cresting the trend index, and they’re leveled up from their predecessors. Elastic tube top? No. Linen tube top? Yes, styled with baggy white denim and fruits de mer. Wide elastic headband and chunky leather mules a la SMG in the (original) IKWYDLS? Yes, paired with a rewatch of Ryan Phillipe at his most handsome, sexual awakening not included. “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, HUH???”

  2. Outfit worth copying: my friend Abby swiped this TWP dress from me for a trip to Sunset Beach (it looks better on her, so it’s hers now) and styled it with caramel-hued Emme Parsons wedges + LAPIMA shield sunglasses. Finishing touch: a Cesta Collective lunchpail bag. Hamptons A+.

  3. Matter of fact, if you want a quick Hamptons pulse check: anklets, toe rings, jelly flip flops, Cynthia Rivas house calls or the goop facial room, mini boat and totes, early 00’s bops, Joel Mesler Vilbrequins, and classic Americana vibes (v. Ralph Lauren on a sailboat). The Net-a-Porter takeover of WYETH was the party to be at, which I had to miss due to another plumbing emergency in the city. Anyway, congrats, Heather! What else? Oh. Missi flowers, Lucky’s, the Loro Piana scandal (woof), big tented shirt dresses, shield sunglasses, Chanel moving to The Hedges, statement hats of the packable variety, extremely mixed takes on Mary Lou’s, niche dad caps, mushroom chocolates, CANN highs, Sagaponack General, teeny tiny hoops, Chemena’s Chloe everything, Hibiscus prints, The Row’s Signum sandals in the sold-out burgundy colorway, flip flops (dupe or not impossible to say) and Barn Tote.

    Rachelle Hruska MacPherson
says everyone at Crow’s Nest is in polka dots. I’ll be back this weekend, will verify.

  4. Speaking of, there’s a trunk show in Sag Harbor this weekend hosted by The Sleep Code with a ton of Love List-beloved brands: Ruadh (I’d go straight for the white Constance jacket), Hunting Season, St. Rose (Out of the Blue is a great summer dry-down), luxury tees from Frances De Lourdes, Nina Runsdorf jewelry, and personalized knits for the prep set from Le Lion. Email info@thesleepcode.com for the address to RSVP if you’re in town. Starting the next day, beauty brand Rationale will pop up at Il Buco Al Mare in Amagansett, where you’ll be able to get a skincare stack direct from Cosmetic Chemist and brand Founder Richard Parker. Neat!

  5. L.L. Bean mini boat and tote spottings this summer: the limit does not exist. Other canvas totes (Sagaponack General, Metier’s new Chameleon, Alex Mill, The Row’s Idaho)? Many. Boatkin spottings: zero. But I have a dinner thing at Surf Lodge this weekend, so maybe this is my moment to see one in the wild finally.

  6. If I still went to an office every day, I’d have already bought this.

  7. If you’re in NYC this week, hit the first day of the Kallmeyer Archive sale for the best selection of samples, pieces from past collections, and more. A range of styles and sizes will be available, but this one’s IRL-only. 68 Greene St., 10 am-7 pm. If you’re not in the city but still want a hit, I recommend the brand’s Chloé bib button-down in airbrush flannel.

Khaite R26 line sheet
  1. Khaite’s magnificent Resort ‘26 collection is now available for preorder through the brand. I’m partially crediting the strength of these new collections to Phoebe Philo, whose return is pushing everyone courting a certain kind of customer to be better and go harder. You love to see it—email mayra@khaite.com for serious inquiries.

  2. For those of you always looking for that next great, weird shoe: here. For those of you looking for the next great fall shoe, here.

  3. The people who make those sexy French hairbrushes are now making sexy French hair care products.
