A couple of pre-summer sale opportunities hit this week. Shopbop’s Style Event offers 15% off $200+, 20% off $500+, and 25% off $800+ orders. I pulled together an easy warm weather outfit from the selection.

Lee Mathews dress, Birkenstock Arizona Big Buckle, Bembien bag, Sylvia Toledano earrings, Brinker & Eliza bracelet, Le Specs sunglasses, Olio E osso lip/cheek, Letlet NY hair tie: use code STYLE for discount. Some solid beauty is included too, like Dr. Devgan.

Speaking of beauty! Also still happening is Sephora’s sale, now open to everyone with a (free) VIB account. Rouge members get 20% off, VIB 15% off, and everyone else 10% off. I wrote up my thoughts on the buzzy new line Refy Beauty last week, which is part of the sale, and included some other suggestions in the same newsletter.

But I can’t believe I haven’t talked to y’all about Crown Affair yet, because I’m a major customer/fan/evangelist of the brand and have been for a couple of years now. Their entire, incredibly mindful (and terribly chic) hair care line is included in the Sephora Sale so it’s a good time to chat about it.

  • The leave-in conditioner is a workhorse product and you get a ton of it in the bottle, so it’s also a great value. I use it both on damp hair after a shampoo and also as a finishing product on my ends.

  • The dry shampoo is a vanity staple, which I love for its aerosol-free delivery and lack of powdery residue on my dark hair.

  • I’ve been enjoying the buzzy new finishing gel, which I can tell you is worth the hype — it’s become the only product I use on those slick-back ponytail and bun days.

  • The truly ELITE drying towel is engineered with infinitely more thought than its competitors. I always use these sales as an opportunity to buy one or two more because I like to have a stack of ‘em.

  • The silk scrunchies, which I sleep in every night.

  • This very chic comb is great for easily-damaged wet hair.

  • And I just ordered the renewal mask, which I’m excited to try on my dry ends.
