This one felt like an evening send to me because partying is BACK, babes. My posse is counting down until May 29, when our group of six will land boots down at Beyoncè’s Cowboy Carter tour. Once the tickets were official, the group chat exploded with outfit ideas.

With this newsletter send, I decided to supersize our thread to include all of you. Most of this stuff would also work for Rodeo, Stagecoach, in Aspen/Telluride or at just about any honky tonk where you’re gunning for best-dressed. Bella Hadid, as it turns out, is onto something.

A few weather and venue-dependent suggestions before we dive into clothes: a decadent compact of gleamy highlighter feels like the right thing to stash in your bag, though you shouldn’t need too much touching up with the right setting spray to sustain you. In the name of Bey AND Dolly, I do declare that this is not the night to go easy on the hairspray — the higher the hair, the closer to God, baby. This one is the BEST for soft hold without helmet hair.

Prep your skin with a little La Mer (feels right for this kind of night) and a thorough once-over with a good microcurrent device to lift and snatch for all those group photos. And if you were ever gonna do a red lip, now is the night, and this is the shade.

Oh, and have some kind of wildly comfortable footwear by the door for when you get home. It’s a three-hour show.
