Here are the precious chosen few sales I think are actually good and not just a panic trigger:

• FWRD is doing a generous spend more, save more event site-wide, which spares you from picking through second-season dregs. You can head straight for the new arrivals if you so wish. Maybe this is your moment to grab a coveted Park Tote or The Row’s fan-favorite soft loafer in a new season red. Also, consider this groovy blue knit from Lemaire, these showstopper Prada sunglasses, or charming table linens from Misette. Discounts climb up to 30% off your cart.

• Did you know hat queen extraordinaire Janessa Leoné has branched into knits and leather goods? Her sweaters are particularly phenomenal. She’s offering a rare sitewide discount of 30% for Black Friday.

• A rare sale from Doen has IG in a chokehold.

• Goop is running 20-30% off in-house labels, including G.Label (don’t sleep on their RTW; it’s rock-solid), skincare, and vibrators. Use code CYBER20.

• For fellow Tyler Hays fans and collectors, BDDW’s holiday auction is live, including highly-coveted puzzles and ceramics.

• Cult-favorite candle brand (beloved by design world stars like Roman and Williams and Jenna Lyons) Creative Candles offers 25% off orders of $200 or more.

• Black Friday sales are an excellent time to stock up on basics like t-shirts, socks, workout gear, and underwear. Shopbop’s 25% off sitewide should help you with that.

• The exhaustive SSENSE sale is now up to 50% off. Get your Bottega Roller skates and artisanal smoking pipes, kids.

• Khaite is up to 50% off, too. It includes TONS of the brand’s sought-after knits, denim, dresses, outerwear, and accessories. The selection is generous, so hop to it if you only shop the brand on sale, like many.

• Hairpin queen Deborah Pagani offers 20% off sitewide with code BF20. I’m very into the new serpent pin.

• Reformation is running 25% off everything. Their leather jackets are an especially good price with the extra discount.

• Simkhai’s floaty offerings are now up to 50% off — but much of it is final sale, so shop carefully.

• Tower 28 is running 20% off sitewide, which I will take advantage of to get more of my favorite SOS Facial Spray. Other beauty bargains include 20% off sitewide at Merit, Hourglass, and French beauty darling Violette_FR, 30% at Crown Affair, and 25% off best-sellers like Augustinus Bader at Violet Grey. Finally, KJH Brand, who won a gold star from me for my favorite makeup launch of 2023, offers 20% off all kits, including her not-to-be-missed hyper-shine highlight kit.

• My favorite online shop for the littles in my life is Maisonette, which is running huge discounts plus an additional buy-more-save-more incentive. If your child has fur, Lambwolf Collective is also offering a Black Friday discount. Go nuts! Give them all the toys!

• Those earrings all the girls are wearing? They’re Heaven Mayhem. And they’re 30% off right now. Same for those loafers they all have; they’re Fréda Salvador, and they’re 25% off.

• Sculptural and special jewelry from AGMES is 25% off.

• Emme Parsons’ coveted, collectible, and highly comfortable shoes are a rare 40% off. RUN, literally. (Her Danielle loafers are my most-worn shoes.)

• Jenni Kayne’s dreamy cashmere is still 25% off — but don’t stop there. Take a peek at the home goods, especially the cozy blankets.

• Last but most certainly not least, Net-A-Porter added a proverbial shitload of new items to sale and is throwing in an extra 15% off on top of sale prices. Consider this bag, this shirt dress, and these clogs that do not in the least bit feel like a sale purchase.
